I like the way it is based on The tv show Bonanza ( we have a bunch of them) and a Parable. It is funny, and kind of cute.

Actually Firestar, the story is based on the parable of the Householder (or wicked tenants) in Matthew 21, verses 33-41 in album 9. But there is another episode base on the Marriage feast in Luke 14:15-24 and Matthew 22:1-14. It is titled ‘The Marriage Feast’ in album 18.

Personally, I think there SHOULD be a character at Whit’s End named Jesse. I like that name. Isn’t it time for a high school BOY who stands firm for Christ? Maybe a preacher’s kid who actually WANTS to follow his dad’s footsteps? There are guys like that out there, you know.
Mercy on August 17th, 2009 - 11:16am
Jesse is a name I hear a lot….
thewalrusman on October 19th, 2009 - 8:49am
so right, cathy. they don;t even have that many teenagers on the show anymore. I know an enthusiastic pastors kid. we should get a two parter that details wooton’s past. We heard a little bit of it in episodes like Bassett Hounds and Wooing Wooton. But still, he became a christian when he was like 16! that doesn’t explain the rest of his childhood. Whenever someone asks him, he says “because…just because!” you really ought to tell us. maybe not all in one episode then.
