Welcome to the new home page for the Official Adventures in Odyssey podcast! We hope you enjoy the new look and a few of the changes we’ve made.
So what’s new?
- You can now search through all the previous posts. Do you want to find out which podcast first mentioned Whit dancing (doesn’t everybody?). Test out our search at right to discover podcasts you may have missed.
- If you don’t want to subscribe to the podcast (gasp!), you can listen to an episode right here on the page. Just click the play button under each edition, and get the whole family together to hear each show.
- Finally, we’ve added a place for you to send us your comments. We want to hear what you think so feel free to sound off in the comments area for each show.

I wanted to give a suggestion to whoever tells John Campbell the music to play…
Can you guys try to make an episode with all classic odyssey music? like the early opening theme, and the early scene music transitions?
Also, I was looking at my “A Time Of Discovery” box, and I noticed Edwin Blaakard’s (spelled right?) first name is EDMUND. Was this his original name, or is this a goof?

i love adventures in odyssey i listen on the web everyday i have about half the volumes i know all of them by heart i use all the cool quotes like there are two people in this conversation and you’re not both of them. when are you going to add some new characters Even thought jason is gone keep tasha in futur eposodes she’s my favourite after wooton

As part of this whole like comment thing… u should add 2 things. ( both would be like optional to fill in though)
1. to enter what state you are in
2. to enter your age.
These 2 features would enable oddyssey fans to see where thir piers are and how old hey are. it would allow us to feel closer to eachother… like one BIG ADVENTURES IN ODDYSSEY FAN CLUB FAMILY.

I have a suggestion! Maybe the Odyssey team could make a “BTV Collection” containing 12 BTV episodes! OR if there was a yearly “BTV” tv cartoon, when you guys would take the audio of a BTV episode, (such as BTV: Compassion) then draw images for the episode, and put it into an Odyssey cartoon! Plus, why is Rodney like a “scaredy cat” in the new episodes? Also, this is kind of random, but could you guys bring Whits “Oooooh?” phrase that was used in Hal Smith’s Whit period?

i love odyssey and the podcast!!!! i wish you did more video podcasts!!!! i also love your darkness before dawn series and all episodes with blackgaard and think you should do a blackgaard album like the new novacom album! i also wish you would do more mystery episodes like the case of the secret room and perfect witness; those are some of my favorite episodes!!! i also like the episodes with jason as a spy he is my favorite character and i would like to hear him on spy missions and get married!

I love this show and the new page. Could you guys put a free Odyssey on called Camp What A Nut part 1 and 2 or Connie Goes To Camp part 1 AND 2, or maybe some SCARY EPISODES, that would be awesome. Hey! I love Adventures in Odyssey, it helps most kids through some had times, but their is one group of kids you kind of forget, Homeschoolers (I’ve never hard an Odyssey with homeschoolers in it). I would relly like it if you had a family that homeschooled and help them with things that hurt them, like being teased by public-schooled kids.

Have ya’ll(beck and Kimberly)heard the Episode “You go to school where?” that might help you understand why Odysey doesn’t have a homeschooling family. You can listen to it by clicking the free episodes tab on the categories block on the side of the page (its second to the most recent free episode)

I know that you didn’t have much sucess at a homeschool episode in the past, but please try again. I’m also a homeschooler and would really appreciate it if you do some episodes about homeschoolers instead of just public schooled kids. Also, do you think that sometime in the near future you might put together a Blackaard Saga? Dr. Blackaard is my favorite villian and I would really appreciate it! By the way, does anyone know where Connie pushes the button in #50? I can’t figure it out?!!

Thank you sooo much for playing Darkness Before Dawn. I love the entire album and even though the end is sad, we can all learn from Dr. Blackaard that not excepting Christ is somthing that no one should wait to do. Joe, and all other homeschoolers, the reason there are no homeschooling episode is because of an episode called “You Go To School Where?” (check out the free episode podcast here: http://whitsendblog.org/category/free-episodes/ )
It seemed to portray the homeschoolers as lazy, and people who go to public school as rude and untalented. (I believe…)
So everyone,it’s not that they have anything against them, but people were offended,and who wants to take a chance at possibly offending people.

In my opinion, I think Connie and Jason should NOT get married. Jason is too reckless and Connie is too curious. If you put them together, then… lets just say they would be pulling each others hair out! Besides, Jason needs to get married to Tasha when she becomes a Christian, and Connie needs to get married to Mitch. But he need to retire from the FBI first.

Shelby, no one knows how old Connie really is. On the show, the producers make her out to be in her mid twenties, while realistically, she should be about in her forties! But I know that everyone, myself included, like to think of Connie being in her twenties. Also I totally agree with you and everyone else who says that Connie and Mitch need to get married, and Tasha and Jason need to get married. But after Tasha becomes a Christian! Connie and Jason would NOT be a good couple at all!!!

I had a wonderful action packed idea for Oddessy.Jerry, Jason’s brother and whits son. Jerry pops up. yes and astounds them. They thought they knew he was dead. and when whits went into the imagination station, Whits heaven Was with who he THOUGHT was gone.(aka dead)and Jerry tells them how the marine thought he was dead. as he was injured unrecognizable. but then Tasha falls in love with jerry and Jason finally falls in love connie. (thats how its supposed to be!:)and connie should grow up abit

Well Kitty, first Connie and Jason are several years apart in age. Second, Jason would drive Connie crazy by not telling her all of his secrets;(and you know how Connie is about being the last one to know anything!). Finally, Jason is just too hyper and doesn’t think (and pray) things through. That usually gets him captured. Connie, she’s just too curious and gets into a lot of trouble herself. And they definitely shouldn’t get married because they are alike in that way! But, this is my opinion.

I do suggest that you go back and listen to the episodes just about Connie and just about Jason, and while your listening, write down the characteristics about either Connie or Jason in that episode. When your through, compare their characteristics and see if Connie and Jason are more alike or more unalike. Who knows, maybe they will eventually get married in the future! I can tell you that will be one SHOCKER of a episode!! Oh, please explain why you think they should be together.

It seemed a good idea to put Eugene and Katrina together but if you look at them now they both lost some “geekiness”. (Katrina lost all of hers.)
Jack getting married was fine because Joann was “created” for her. Wooten getting married would be AWFUL because no one has been made for him. Connie getting married would remove a part of odyssey.

I really like Odyssey! I listen to it all the time! But there is one thing I can`t seem to find here on Whitsend! I can never find pictures of Connie, Eugene, Whit, Wooten or really anybody! I had that problem too. I listened to it every chance I could. But then I realized that AIO was way more important to me than God so I went on a “Odyssey Fast”. Instead of giving up food, I gave up AIO for an entire month. Actually. I’m working on two months right now and the only AIO that I’m listening to is the ones on Saturday. It was hard at first, but I have been spending a lot more time with God and I really enjoy my time with Him. You and every AIO fan should try this.
