Congratulations on entering this week’s secret word! Now, enjoy your prize: another episode from the Family Portraits series called You’re Not Gonna Believe This…!
As a test “prequel” to Adventures in Odyssey, Family Portraits showed off the town of Odyssey and its citizens. However, several changes were made between Family Portraits and Adventures in Odyssey. Today’s episode was later re-written into another Adventures in Odyssey episode titled “It Sure Seems Like It To Me.”

I love the Washington family.They are such a Godly family.This summer I went swimming cause when your in Texas you have to go swimming.I rode horses.And helped my Mom,One things for sure i never have a summer vacation.I do homeshcooling all year round.I want to finish School.

Nice! This episode was remade later on, only using girls instead of the cousins, with some other minor changes. I like the way AIO is now, but it really is neat to hear these classic beginning shows. Thanks AIO! Keep it up!

I am really enjoying these Family Portraits episodes. Thank you. I think Tamika owes her dad an appology. Are there really kids out there with no idea how blessed they are to have a Dad like Ed? I do understand the 11 year old changes Tamika portrays. I was the same way (or worse). I just don’t get the insencetivity portrayed when Dad, Ed appologizes to her. The actor playing Ed did an excellent job. I thought he was going to cry. Anyway, I loved AIO.

This episode was almost exactly like the remake, “It sure seems like it to me!” I can’t figure out which version I like best! And to Mercy, I have done almost nothing this summer, my twenty year old cousin from Arizona is staying here for the year, but that’s about it.

I love all the episodes about the Washington’s! I wish they wouldn’t have stopped having the Washington’s in AIO. I think this was a cool idea to do this secret word thing. I think it is fun to listen to these episodes. Budgie is pretty crazy!!

I thought it was very sad the way Tamika treated her dad…but aside from that…It was pretty good. “Do or diet” is one of my favs=)I like the Washington’s episodes too! My fav of the Washingtons is the one about Tamika and Marvin sneaking stuff behind their mom’s back…and how she finds out from Wooten what they did…hehe=)

I like the episode of Tamika and her father they both ended learning a lesson that some don’t realized like Tamika’s dad didn’t realize he was embarrasing her daughter. My sister gets embarrased about things I don’t get embarrased about so I pictured Tamika more so to one of my sisters. I also like the clip I’ve heard it before. It was good.

Hey Nevada! I did the same stuff you did this summer!homeschooled, I went swimming, and rode horses! I love horses! I used to have one! I am going to get another one! I hope that I get one soon! We live on a farm, but my uncle had to take care of my horse because it chase our cows. I love AIO!! How old are you Nevada? I am 11.

Chal and Khemenaya, Lucy was called Lucy “Cunningham” for a while. They made a little mistake and called her Lucy “Schultz.” So, they fixed it by saying in “The Truth about Zachary” that her father (Mr. Cunningham), died. Then her step-dad’s last name was Schultz, so, she became Lucy Cunningham-Schultz. So Mr. Cunningham was her father.

I love AIO its great! The Washingtons are my favorite family. I loved the hotdog car and the roastbeef. I am homeschooled to, Nevada, and have done a lot of the same things you have done but i dont have a horse, but my dad says i can get one since we live on a farm. i love animals and the 3 horses that live in the pasture beside us love and let me pet and feed them!

Sweet. Excited for Darien’s Rise. I wanna get a copy. Did you know that one of the main voices is the voice of Eugene as a kid and Everett (Leanord’s sone, Eugene’s brother). Very Cool.
