In today’s episode, Anna told Darien that he would have victory in the battle over Kellen… the Unseen One guaranteed it. But, Colonel Oliver, Darien’s right-hand man, thought the idea was crazy, and even Anna didn’t know how a victory could happen. How could 100 men capture a city? The odds looked impossible.
The funny thing, though, is that God seems to really like working through impossible odds. He used a runaway shepherd to lead a group of slaves through a sea when they were being followed by one of the best armies in the world. He saved a slave from a pit of lions. He protected three followers from being burned alive. He even chose a young unmarried girl to raise the world’s Savior. And when that girl pointed out that she couldn’t possibly have a baby, God’s messenger responded: “…nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).
Later, Jesus did many miracles that seemed impossible, and taught things that were just as hard to believe. When his believers got discouraged because something looked impossible, Jesus told them, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God” (Mark 10:27, NIV.) Then he proved it by dying and coming back to life!
So how come we still cry over “unsolvable” problems in our families? Why do we panic over homework that “will never get done?” Why are we afraid of so many things? Why don’t we have confidence that anything can happen, with God? Maybe it’s just the way we are…or maybe we can change it. What do you think?

I think so often we rely on our own strength and try to do it all ourselves until we reach our “wits’ end” (to borrow the colloquialism). Only then do we consider trusting God to do the impossible. But I believe God wants us to turn to Him alone as soon as a doubt or worry creeps in. He is lovingly waiting to relieve the burden! When we are empty of ourselves, He will work freely and fully! If everyone lived with this audacious faith, our world would be completely different.

I really like Dariens Rise but I can’t hear part 6 it comes up as The triangle part 2.

Every time I try to listen to Dariens rise part 6 or Break a Leg it comes up with The Triangle 2. I’m not sure what’s going on but, I tried on my computer, on my mom’s computer, and in 2 different browsers. I hope I can hear it soon though, I love this series.

I can’t listen to Darien’s Rise Part 6 on Whit’s End On The Radio. Whenever I click the link it plays The Triangle II. The link for Green Eyes and Yellow Tulips won’t play either. So sad. =(

i have been listening to AiO since i was about 6 and this is definetly one of my favorites! wasnt Maris first introuced when Toms son Timmy went? i also love how it is like David and Saul in the bible!

I luv Passages! It’s totally awesome! I like how it corresponds with David and Saul in the Bible and the intensity. Whenever the new one ends, i immediately can’t wait of the next part. I seriously count down the days (it’s true) till the next one comes out. My brothers and I are tempted to get the whole series. luv u odyssey!
