I love AIO! Connie is inspiring in so many ways. Please put detailed biographies of the new characters on the website. These new characters seem interesting, especially Matthew and Emily. They are unlike any of the other child characters, except for Marvelous Marvin in No Way In and No Way Out. I wonder if they will meet up with Harlow Doyle? That would certainly be fun!

I don’t know if you will be able to answer this, but I was wondering, how did Eugene remember that he was a Christian in “A Most Extraordinary Conclusion”? He started praying with Whit after he got out of the Imagination Station, but, he wouldn’t of known how to, because he became a Christian WHILE he was in Odyssey, not before or after.

To Jake:
Being a Christian is not something one knows in his mind, but in his heart. I think the answer is that Eugene only lost his mind memory. He may have forgotten the exact circumstances around his becoming a Christian, but he still knew that God was living inside of him. That’s my thought on your question.

I imagine that the fact that Eugene was a Christian was one of the things that Whit and Dr. Foster told him. Then again, maybe it was Tom, Connie or Bernard. It seems like Tom or Whit though. Hope that helps!

good question. could it be that because he knew jesus from odyssey till he lost his memory and whit only said that the memory of odyssey was lost not the week before so he would remember a month or so ago he was a Christian then. but my question is if he had memory of his youth and the couple months why is it that he could not remember odyssey?

eugene prayed with tom,bernerd,jack,and connie. whit was in the middle east. and i don’t know how to answer that ouestion exept that connie,tom,whit,and his other friends could remind him. i forget but whit or someone else (maybe eugene) said they would pray for him.does that help jake?

Good question Jake,
when Eugene became a christian, it was one of the first ones.
When he lost his memory it was later.
I think he would remember that because whit said that he could remember a month ago and Eugene was a christian longer then that.

someone, thats a good question. i don’t have the correct answer, but maybe the odyssey writers do. and God knows too. but here is my answer.
when he was out of odyssey he knew he was a christian, so when his memory was erased of odyssey he still could remember he was a christian,because he was out of odyssey and knew he was a christian. does that help? it is hard to explain.

I’ve thought the same thing myself. But I think that his memories were kind of surface, while being a Christian went deeper. He probably felt his connection with God, just as he also felt his former connection with the Odyssey gang.
Well that’s my theory.

Jake: I think maybe as he prayed, memories began coming back. He suddenly remembered that he had prayed with Jack Allen before. Then he remembered everyone else coming in. Kind of like that saying- prayer always works.

Jake, that’s a really good qusetion. I’ve thought about that myself actually. Eugene became a Christian in “The time has come ” which as you said was before he lost his memory. I concluded that one of the other characters could have told him; he could have just known it though. Being a Chistian gives an assured feeling.

I am having trouble listening to adventures in odyssey. It is so annoying! I do not have enough money to buy them so I can only listen to them online. I really love the stories and they are really inspiring! My friend introduced me to them and three weeks ago I became a christian! Connie inspires me b/c she is a devout Christian. I love the way that she tries to help Emily and Matthew with their questions. She helps me get through the tough times b/c she has a positive attitude and looks at things on the bright side. Connie is my favorite character from AIO. My favorite episode is the one where she becomes a Christian after her trip to California. I also like the episode where she helps Pam and keeps her from getting an abortion. She is the most inspiring character.
