I was so sad to hear that Paul Herlinger had died! I guess we will all have to get used to this new voice of Whit. Listening to “Behind the music with John Campbell” was quite interesting! Its fun to have new episodes but everything is diffrent including whits voice and nothing looks right. Its kind of sad to see the old odyssey going away. it was the best!

I can’t wait for album 51! I pre-ordered it on february 28, but now it says at cbd.com that it is backordered till april 14 =(.I’m dissapointed that it is backordered so soon, when it was only available for direct purchase on march first.

I LOVE AIO. I have been listening to ADVENTURES IN ODYSSEY for as long as I can remember. ITS THE BEST SHOW OUT THERE. I’m almost fifteen and I still listen to AIO and my brother listen to them before I was born. I am not the only one who loves the show my mom and dad love it almost as much as I do. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I have to agree with mandy. I don’t like the new whit voice. In fact, it almost sounded like Eugine. (Sorry I know that’s not speeled right!) But it sounds good and it’s awesome that you guys are still recording new episodes! Im a huge fan and I have heard these ever since I was born. I love falling asleep listening to them! I agree with, somebody in the mass of comments up there:),Whit’s voice does sound REALLY different. But considering how many actor changes they’ve done w/him, they did a pretty good job. Did anybody else listen to the episode yet? Is the inspiration station separate from the imagination station, or did Whit and Eugene change the imagination stat. to the inspiration? It’s impact is reminding me of the nova box.. :-\ I dunno, I still don’t understand just HOW it works.. Hopefully we’ll find out!:)

Its so sad that Hal Smith and Paul Herlinger have past away. The new Whit doesn’t sound warm and fuzzy like the others.

How in the world are can you listen to The Inspiration Station online????? I open up the media player and it starts playing Sound Like a Mystery from friday and there is no appearant way to make it play saturday’s show. They advertisied that you should be able to listen to it online.

I REALLY don’t like the new whit voice! It doesn’t sound like him AT ALL! (but I really like all of the rest of the Odysseys!) hope you change his voice in the future.

I do not like the new characters and voices! I think that was a very wrong turn for AIO! I miss the old voices, but you cannot do anything about Mr. Whittakers voice changing (sadly). If he retires please AIO find the same sounding voice, and please put a sample of the voice online. People don’t like changes…just thinking.

I can’t wait for next weeks!!! you guys left it on a HUGE cliff hanger! oh well Even though I’ll be 16 in two weeks, AIO is still as awesome to me as when I was 7!!!!!!!!!! I think the new Whit sounds a little bit like Whit, but should just talk a little lower. Also in The Inspiration Station, I can really tell that one of the girls in the Parker family sounds like Connie. I really enjoy Odyssey, and hope that you will be able to continue to make odysseys like the others. Keep up the AWESOME work!

I agree with Mandy. I don’t like the new Whit voice, but the plot line is intriging. Man, it is hard to believe that even while I’m fourteen I am still hooked. Do you think that the inspiration station is affecting Connie in a bad or good way? (It’s both duh!) I can see this turning all thrillerish in the next episode.

I noticed that Whit has a new voice. It sounds some what like the other voice but it doesn’t sound exactly the same but I do like the episode. It seems like in the episode though Whit was kind of mean.

okay odyssey you put it up it was an okay episode. BUT can you please try to correct the player issues permanently. I have been disappointed again and again. because of the problems I’m a die hard fan but i’m losing my die hardness. I cant honestly say it was worth the wait. With all the changes, the 2 years, and then the Saturday stress of trying for hours to listen. I really wish I could say it was a great episode, and the player’s issue isn’t a big deal but it is. When you wait 2 yrs its sad

Mr Whitiker has been like a father to connie for years and so i think Jason and Connie would be a perfect match for each other. i think that they should get married soon. I am pretty tired of “almost” marriages in Odyssey like Jason and Tashas and Connie and Mitch’s

I like the plot of the inspiration pt. 1.
I feel bad for connie, eugene has katrina, whit has (or had) Tom riely. But connie doesn’t even have a BFF.
I miss Alex jefferson, cal jordan, mandy straussbergh, liz horton, and trent and jared dewhite. why did they change it? I miss jason.
I was an odyssey fan forever since i was 9 and am almost 13, and MISS THE OLD ODYSSEY.

I listened to The Inspiration Station the other day.
I am not fond of the new Whit’s voice.
I think the old Whit did a really good job.
But the rest was great and I am really excited to meet the Parker family.

I was listening to episode last week on cd and katrina said that eugene eyes were blue not brown!

The new whit really does ruin whit’s character. Would have been much better with a Whit that sounded somewhat like his old Character. Completely brings a corny sound to Odyssey that has been Odyssey strength for decades. Dissapointed, but besides whit, odyssey continues to be an inspiration. Thank you

I listened to the Inspiration Station parts 1 and 2 and I think that the new season is actually going to be pretty cool. At first I didn’t know if I was going to like it, but I’m sure that I’ll adjust to the new voice for Whit. Odyssey is still doing an awesome job!

Kay, I absolutely love Horses too! They are so beautiful. I love riding them and sometime i want to get my horse. maybe a palimino and do goat tying in the rodeo with my horse and ride him all the time. I love being a cowgirl!

Odyssey is the best! I love listening to it while I do chores, go on car rides or do cleaning up around the house or outside.

Its SATURDAY! My excitement is on top of some place high. lol

I actualy realy like the new whit voice. It makes him sound very enegetic and joyful. He doesn’t sound as wise as the old voice, but it gives him a new element that I always wished whit had since he is like a ninjah, running around, building inventions. I always wondered how he could be so energetic and the new voice makes it believable.

Living in Odyssey would be interesting. All of the kids and interesting characters.

The Inspiration Station part two was a little strange. No offense. What was Matthew and Mortimer in? A time machine?

People didn’t like Paul Herlinger when he first replaces Hal Smith, but we all ended up loving him anyway. I think Andre Stojka is going to be awesome!

i have an idea for one. i only listen to Christian music, because god made music to glorify him, and all the stuff that the world sings about is a waste of time… maybe you could make one on that..i think that in a situation, where children were trying to figure out if they should listen to secular music, maybe you could have whit say ” god made music to glorify him” and then whit could have them think about it

I was just thinking that for the kids who can’t afford to buy the AIO Albums/Downloads … why isn’t there a free radio program that is 100% free to own and download? Possibly one that is done the non-profit way and gives the episodes away for free to anyone who wants them.

my dad went to haiti to help and he became good friends with his hatian translator. he gave him his ipod and forgot that aio was on there and when he came back his translator called and said he loved it and helped him with his english!!! and taught him about jesus! thanks oddessy!!!1

Anonymous, that was not a very good attempt at homeschooling, if they make another family (another by the Sheppherds, although they also weren’t too realistic when it comes to homeschooling), they need to research – a LOT!! But they should do that!!
Luke, Aubrey wasn’t exactly a very good job for a homeschooler, in my opinion, besides, she mostly grown up now, and went to College!!

I’m not sure if I like the new Odysseys. I really like the mystery sagas, like the Novacom and Blackgaard sagas, and these new episodes seem a bit, well, boring. And Whit’s new voice is going to take some getting used to.

Oh, that is SO exciting CowGirl!!! How many kids are in your family right now? H.C.F.5. We have 5 kids in our family. I’m the oldest, and I’m almost 13, and then there’s my only brother (and the only boy ), and he’s 11, then almost 7 and 4 1/2, and then 7 months!
Oh, Anonymous, we are quite aware that there are SO MANY (!!) non-homeschoolers listening to Odyssey, but often homeschoolers feel like the odd one out, like a small group, all by them selves, so it’s nice to find lots of others.

I know in our homeschool group (we have a big one), the way “school kids” are steriotyped is as loud, rambunctious kids, with colourful language….
I didn’t put that in my last post, cuz I wasn’t sure if it would be removed. Yes, some kids do, but not all of them. We need to stop evaluating them by what school they go to and just enjoy them for who they are!

My family listens to AIO EVERY day! Album 51 is definitely a change. It doesn’t seem right listening to AIO without the talented voices of Walker and Paul. We will miss them so much. But life can’t stay the same, and we can’t expect AIO to remain the same either. God bless you AIO staff for making radio an adventure that families can enjoy together. We love you all. By the way will Eugene and Katrina ever have a baby? Will Jason return? When will Monica Stone get out of jail?
