The Owlnapping Review Part 4

it isn’t something they talk about often. I liked Vance in this episode, and hope to see more of him (but i miss Rodney!!). I also liked Coach Fang’s line at the end (“wax on, wax off…”) This was a decent episode, and is worth a listen.

The Owlnapping Pros & Cons

-The fact that Ryan doesn’t have a cell phone (I’m a strong believer in kids not having cell phones)

Oh yeah!!! I’m the 1st!!! I saw Last Chance Detectives once. It was sooooo cool. I could hear the voice of Ryan Cummings (sp?) while hearing Adam Wylie talk.

I’m so glad we are going to be seeing or rather hearing more of Ryan! After I heard the Kidsboro three part episode I read all the Kidsboro books, I liked them a lot and got some backround information on the character, They were all really funny and really good. So I’m really glad to be hearing that some of the characters from Kidsboro will be in the new Odyssey episodes. P.S. Whatever happened to Jack and Joanne?

The Owlnapping was pretty good, with a bit of the old Odyssey tang to it. Vance making Ryan go all over town to find the owl was hilarious! And Coach Fang is so funny. I’m glad Whit told them about how trusting in the owl to help them win their games wouldn’t work. This episode is worth listening to. I think it has a good message. Adam Wylie sounds really nice. I’m glad they put Ryan back in the mix. But Adam Wylie doesn’t look as old as he says he is. From the picture, he looks about 17!

He sounds so cool! I loved him in Kidsboro…and I believe he was in the Truth Chronicles. Great actor!
Some good stufff on this podcast.

Nice podcast! Ryan is one of my favorite characters (especially in kidsburrow)But I am a little disipointed that more adults are playing more kid characters (even though they are great actors)It just seems more real with real kids. Other than that, love odyssey and their episodes!

Pete is played by the same actor as was Seth. I agree, I don’t like it either, Pete’s new voice that is. But I don’t like his name either, it’s way out of style. Why does AIO choose names that are so uncontemperary?

I’M COACH FANG’S BIGGEST FAN!!!!!!!! HE”S QUITE HILARIOUS!!!! I’m not a big fan of Emily or Olivia because of their high,squeaky exaagerated voices. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with a voice like that. Some girls, like me,have lower voices, just to let he world know. I really like Camilla ’cause her voice is real-sounding and she’s a cute lil’ girl.

To NC (btw, does that stand for North Carolina?Cause my cousin’s wife is from there, and she, as well as all North Carolinians, is ALWAYS so nice and never too critical.)

I really love Adam Wylie(Adam)’s voice, but I’m wondering does Focus-On-The-Family have a separate website for ‘The Last Chance Detectives’??? Also I really do not like the new episodes(#51 & #52) I find that they are losing their point. Neither do I like the new ‘Whit’.

Who of all the old characters do you miss the most?

OdysseyFan#1 I have to say that you shouldn’t place that one of the cons in the Owlnapping was that it was a basketball episode. I am one of the biggest basketball fans that you will find and I love it! I don’t get why everyone doesn’t like Oppisite Day and The Owlnappig ar bad. Is it because it isn’t as exciting as all the other adventures, like The Mystery of the Clock Tower. I think that those episodes are just as normal as I don’t know, The secret weapon in album Welcome Home.

Ryan does a pretty good job on it, i never could’ve thought he was,like, a lot older the the rest of the kids;his voice fits his character.. i agree wih a lot of u guys 2,i dont like the new Whits voice.and HMB30,I SOO agree with u! @ LORYN and ROA: Pete is a fine name, but it’s not used much. That’s the only thing I don’t like about that name. Why not use a name that you would here in this century? Like Logan, Ashton, or Ty? And Pricilla(or however you spell it) is not a good contemperary name. There’s no one named Pricisalle nowadays! And if the name aren’t realistic, then it knid of seems like Odyssey isn’t either. I could think of lots of name they could use that are modern.
