    About the interview with David. I loved the interview, but it felt rushed to me. A few times it sounded as if Bob and Jesse even interupted David, just to ask a different question. And as much as I like the interviews, most of the time, I find them way too short. And I think this is the cause for it. Bob and Jesse rush the interview too much. Not that they’re bad interviewers! I just feel that the interviewers should let the interviewee talk freely, instead of rushing him/her.

Unfortunately, we can’t mail all of them back because there were 578 entries–that’s a ton of mailing! BUT we’re hoping to use the bills to decorate Whit’s End or the Odyssey work place.     Hey Rock-o-ages! Great comment! If you want to know a little secret…the reason the interview might have seemed rushed to you is because we edited it to make it shorter. The original interview with David was 40 minutes long, so we got lots of time to ask cool questions and he could answer freely for as long as he wanted. BUT, we thought a lot of people wouldn’t want to listen to such a long podcast, so we worked hard to edit down his questions and bring you the best, MOST interesting stuff that he said in <20 minute podcast. I’m so glad you enjoyed the interview, though, and thanks for your comment! We’ll be sure to keep it in mind. :)

    I understand about some people not wanting to hear a 40 minute interview. 40 minutes is a long time! I guess I just got spoiled with a fan podcast episode where they interviewed the voice of Jimmy Barclay for about 6 hours! :P . I could be remembering the length wrong, but it was a very LONG interview!

    I was at summer camp and my friend got really excited at one point and told us that her sister (Katherine) had won this national Adventures in Odyssey art contest and she really wanted to tell us sooner, because her and her parents knew about it for like a week before they called Katherine, but they had to keep it a secret from her. I talked to her on the phone later that week an she was really happy about it :) So thanks for voting for her :)

    Hey Odysseycool! Good question! We moderate comments throughout the day, but we’re working on lots of different projects (there’s not one person who just does moderating), so most of the time multiple comments build up before we can post them. We also don’t come in to work on weekends, so it always takes longer to moderate those comments too. So, moral of the story is…don’t worry-you’re comments will probably get posted soon. And chances are you weren’t the first to comment. There’s no harm in trying though! :)

    Yes. …. Just kidding! Of course not! Have some faith in Odyssey! :) And we’ve had to say goodbye to some of the characters for a lot of different reasons…Sometimes the actors move away, get sick or grow up, and then we have to decide to either replace the voice (which is often hard to accept) or slowly phase the character out of the story. We miss characters like Bernard and Bart and Alex, and we don’t like change either, but, then again, our favorite characters were once new. It just takes a while to get used to them. :)

    For all of you people that might think that Dr. Blackgaard is coming back in album 55, he’s not. I looked on Amazon.com, and it showed that album artwork with the name “The Blackgaard Chronicles”. It’s actually all the episodes with either Dr. Blackgaard or Richard Maxwell that have been ever produced.

    I was just wondering about something,I listened in a podcast commercial that the reason you got rid of officer Harley is because people were getting offended because they thought that character was demeaning to officers all around because our law officers are quite intelligent unlike Harley.Now,I noticed that both characters have the same voice actors,they also have…. same kind of personality.so was the reason you got rid of Harlow Doyle the same as officer Harley?or did the==

    Hey TG. YES it has a Christian view. Book 1 is about creation. Book 7 is about the end of the world. All the books in between are other stuff from the bible.(#4 I think is about King David…) :) so yes it has a Christian view. :) Read ‘Until We Have Faces’, also by CS Lewis. It’s a bit disturbing, but worthwhile

    story of Psyche and Cupid. The story is told from the perspective of Orual, Psyche’s sister, who is hideous and has a possesive love for Psyche. The story is about dying to yourself. It goes through her change throughout the story. She hates the ‘gods’ for taking Psyche away from her, and she goes from loving Psyche to hating her. She lives in a country where they worship the god ‘ungit’ whom Orual realizes is in herself through a series of complex dreams. Overall it is a truely inspiring story.

    Lewis started the book when he was an athiest and was basically accusing God, and then he finished the book when he was a Christian, he wrote about his own experiences and how he “died to himself” and basically its about how all of us long to be Psyche, but in fact we are all Oruals. Okay sorry, I’m getting ahead of myself, sorry. The book is amazing and there are parts where you just want to scream, but that’s the point of it. Lewis writes an amazing tale and you should read it. :D Please

She is very ill, and that’s why I asked everyone to pray for her. She had to go through surgery and she’s only 10. Sorry for the confusion :D
