Why can I not listen to this podcast? It keeps saying buffering but it never goes anywhere. I had this same problem with the “Paul McCusker interviewed on fan podcast,” though I had no trouble listening to the Avery Awards. Is anyone else having this trouble? I can’t figure it out.

She dragged me into posting on this web site. I’ve been watching over her shoulder when she posts. On MY laptop computer. We are both homeschooled, however I am 17 ½ and she’s turning 15 in September. It’s soooooo funny; she and I were born two and a half years apart. Exactly. I was born on March 17th and she was born on September 17th. It’s amazing. We both love to sing and ride horses. I also write stories. I write fiction stories like she does; however I write about people I know and she writes about characters that she makes up.

Hi, Stevie, fellow reader, I would love to see what type of books you would recommend. I’m 15, and I love Christian romance, so my favorite writer is Janette Oke. Dee Henderson is also amzing. She writes suspense, almost mystery novels that have a touch of Romance. The O’malley series is one of my best, especially books 1 and 4. They are so cool! Hope you read this.
Ilovebuck on August 8th, 2011 - 10:15am
Oh and by the way, i know this is late, but Who is Monty Whittaker’s father? As far As I know, Whit only had three kids. Jerry died in Vietnam, Jenny would have married and changed her last name and Jason never married. How exactly is Monty related to Whit? I would love some clarification on this.

Hey have any of you read Frank E. Peretti’s “This Present Darkness”? It is really good. It is definitely a Christian book. And it has a sequel called “Piercing the Darkness.” Great books! I’m a big reader. Go Janette Oke!
To IloveBuck, have you read Oke’s sequel series to Love Comes Softly series? They are just as good if not better than the Love Comes Softly series. It’s called “A Prairie Legacy.” I really recommend those, but you need to read Love Comes Softly (all of them) to understand
Jamie on August 10th, 2011 - 9:49am

Singin` here is a question I have always wondered, and I hope I get an anwer, If God loves us so much why does He cause bad things to happen? And if he loves us, why did he let sin into the world?
Anyone can answer, but I really want to know. Thanks yall
~Rayanne
Elwynois on August 11th, 2011 - 11:18am
@ Rayanne
The reason bad things happen is because Adam and Eve sinned. Before that, the world was perfect. And it’s not God’s fault that there is sin in the world. Sin came into the world BECAUSE of Adam and Eve’s sin.
Sarah on August 11th, 2011 - 3:18pm
NOOOOOOOO I don’t want the next album to be like Album 51 and 52 That is why album 53 was SO good. Because it was not like the other two. 51 and 52 were missing the wonderful, heartwarming, challenging, colorful episodes that previous albums (before 51) and 53 had. That is a reason why I liked green ring conspiracy so much. Parts were serious, others weren’t, it was funny, colorful, had challenging lessons (unlike 51),EMily wasn’t in it a lot and kept you hooked. I hope 54 is good in these ways.
ILOVEBUCK on August 11th, 2011 - 4:12pm
Hey Grace Grace, I love Janette Oke! I love the last 2 love comes softly books, with belinda.I Read the series about the british captain’s wife who was friends with the french girl, but they shouldn’t have been friends beacuse the british hated the french and when they traded babies to get the doctor for the french baby, they got separated for 18 years. That’s my fave Janette Oke series, but I forgot the name. I’ll come back and tell you when I find out. I have the Canadian west series. Love it!
ILOVEBUCK on August 11th, 2011 - 4:14pm
Hey, Rayanne, Another reason God puts sin and hurt in the world is so that we can grow closer to him through the trials. How many people have gotten saved from experiencing hurt and pain? Are you a Christian?
ILOVEBUCK on August 11th, 2011 - 4:18pm
But Regollin, CHLOE AND BUCK DIE!!!! I was so angry for sentimental reasons.
Regollin on August 11th, 2011 - 4:53pm
Reyanne: God gives us bad things to grow closer to him.
For example: If we did dangerous things like ride a fourweeler as fast as it can go, make a sharp turn, flip over the front and get run over ( Dont ask lol ) You would keep doing it. If you do dumb things that could put you or someone else in danger someone is bound to get hurt. If you do stupid things in your life and you would keep doing them. If God let you do those things without consicuenses You would just hurt others.
Cont…
Regollin on August 11th, 2011 - 4:57pm
Cont…
And if you did things your own way your whole life whats the point of God. If sin wasn’t a problem whats the point of Jesus Dieing for us? If Jesus didn’t die for us then all the profets in the old testement would be wrong. the Bible cant be wrong, it’s the word of God.
God gives us bad things to grow closer to him. and if sin wasn’t a problem then you would never have to ask Jesus into our hearts. God wants to give us a chance to follow him, Or not.
Cont…

God wants us all to go to heaven but we truely have to beleive that he died for us. God loves you
ftu on August 11th, 2011 - 6:00pm
@ ILOVEBUCK: You read the O’Malley series? Man, those are for adults! My parents wouldn’t even read those books, they are barely Christian at all! Just a hint of Christianity along with a huge dose of worldliness.

Reyanne on August 11th, 2011 - 9:50pm
Thanks Elwynois, that really helped, I am a Christian, but sometimes I just wonder about that. Thanks a lot for your answer.
Jamie on August 12th, 2011 - 12:13pm
@ reyanne: God is ultimately in control of everything, so while somethings may seem bad to us it’s all part his plan to help us trust in Him and to show us we are not in control and we need Him.

I’m so glad my explanation helped you! You can ask me other questions if you want to. I’m a minister’s daughter, so I know a lot about the Bible and stuff.
~ Elwynois
P.S. How old are you?
ILOVEBUCK on August 13th, 2011 - 8:08am
Ahem, mr. FTU, but the O’malley series is totally Christian. in each one, one of the O’malleys becomes a Christian. The last one is the best if you want PROOF! It is not worldly. It is like a CHristian Nancy Drew, almost, but only with young adults instead of teens, and each of them have their own jobs. Jack’s a firefighter, Stephen’s a paramedic, Marcus is a US marshal, Kate is a negotiator, Lisa is a Doctor who figures out the cause of death, and Rachel is a trauma therapist/detective.

Chloe, Buck, Ryan, Bruce Barnes, Natalie Bishop, Pete Davidson, and about half of all of the Young Trib Force’s friends die. My favorite books are the last few books.

Has anyone read ‘The Red Rock Mystery series’, by the same author? My fav. book in that series is the last book. It is sooooo action packed.

I LOVE reading! I suggest the Left Behind the Kids. Once you start reading, you can’t put it down. I just finished a book called A Little Princess. It is a heart-warming story about a girl named Sara Crews. Hope you like my suggestions.

RJOY on August 14th, 2011 - 4:55pm
Regollin, I think your wrong when you said God ‘gives’ us bad things to grow closer to him. God DOESN’T give us bad things it is man’s sin that causes hurt and suffering in the world.
RJOY on August 14th, 2011 - 5:15pm
Singin’ is Star Wars Christian? And what is it about? I don’t want a detailed info on it because my mom doesn’t let me watch it but is it ‘good’?! I’m homeschooled too but we don’t do semesters. For the older kids, we do SOS. The younger ones do ACE. We do our best and we come off pretty well. We don’t do grades but if we did, I am in 8th & I’m 12. My eldest sister is in college doing College PLUS. And I have a question for you! Do you believe in evolution?
Regollin on August 15th, 2011 - 12:07pm
RJOY: star wars is definetly not christian. But it all depends on what your mom thinks. Hope that helps
Regollin on August 15th, 2011 - 12:12pm
Rjoy: Yes, Sorry. But God gives us a choice to do the right thing or the wrong things. Like a test sort of. We can choose to do the right thing choose to do the wrong thing. But a lot of times when the bad things happen we pray to God and know better to do the things again. We grow closer to him when bad things happen some of the time, but if we choose to do the wrong thing over and over again, God can let you do them. But even when we choose to do our own thing, God will be right there…
Regollin on August 15th, 2011 - 12:13pm
… whispering to us to do the right thing. God does not want to give us bad things but lets those things happen to grow closer to him.

Regollin on August 15th, 2011 - 4:23pm
As an example, when we ask God to come into our life, It’s like asking him to drive our car. ( No, If you become a christian God is not your personal shouferr. )
Sometimes when we go down bumpy roads or hard things in our lifes We think that we can drive ourselves out. But a lot of times, it get’s even worse. But God is always there to take the wheel. So God gives us the choices to do the right things or the wrong things to show that he is in control. God bless
sINGIN’ on August 15th, 2011 - 5:17pm
@ RJOY
No, Star Wars isn’t Christen. Star Wars is good, if you like Sci-Fi Action Adventures. There are no references to God or any other religion. The Force is like a version of a god, but no one worships it. Now, the Chronicles of Narnia mirrors Christianity. Aslan:God, Peter:Peter the Apostle, Casipan:David, Digory and Polly:Adam and Eve, and many more relations.
@ Regollin
You spelled shouferr wrong. It is spelled chauffeur.

ILOVEBUCK: I have read them all! Yes, I know what you are talking about, I love that series with the British girl and the French. I didn’t realize it was a series at first, and so I ended up starting with the 3rd. But, it was very very good! Oh! I love the Canadian series!
Reyanne: I was a pastors daughter until this year because of something unexpectedly bad that happened; it wasn’t done by God, but He promised to lead us through it. Why do these things happen?

GraCY grace on August 17th, 2011 - 2:37pm

Reyanne:Because God gave us the freedom of choice. And, the reason He gave us that choice instead of just making everything right for us and making sure we never sin, is because He wanted a relationship with us instead of just obedient robots. Does that make since?
And to whoever asked about believing in Evolution, I do not believe in it. I believe that the earth was made only one way, and that is exactly how the Bible says it was.

Well, High King Peter is like Peter the apostle because he is the ‘second in command’ to Aslan and the apostle to Jesus. That is the connection. If you want to know more, you can go to your local library and get many books by C. S. Lewis and other authors that explain almost everything. Cont.
sINGIN’ on August 21st, 2011 - 8:54am
Cont. from above.
Because, there are some jokes that are difficult for younger people to understand. Anyway, back to your questions, FTU, I typed that Prince/King Caspian is/was like King David from the Bible story, David and Goliath. You know, Caspian=David and Miraz=Goliath. I understood it before I read the explanatory books.

JAKE, why do you feel sorry for ABBY? I am a homeschooler, and I love it! You get so many more opportunies. Like I’m in a college marching band, pep band and concert and jazz band. and I’m only fifteen!

Hey did ya’ll know that Eustace is modeled after the Apostle Paul? Remember how he turned into a dragon? Well Paul had SCALES placed on his eyes when he saw Christ. Then God and Aslan removed both of their scales and they became some of the best people both worlds had ever seen. I just wanted to throw that out.
