    Notice the first 3 commenters names all start with a K? Okay…I know…Totally random thought.

    I have hundreds of Odyssey CD’s…But there all um…Single, and they are..different. I got them from an aunt that had something to do with Focus, so they were like..un-offical. lol.

    Anyone ever heard in those really old episodes were a guy would come on after the piercing beep? The guy sounds exactly like Brock….Was it you Brock??

    This is great even if you don’t have a large collection, look at some of the past winners, they have a smaller display but it’s the creativity and quality that won over larger Collections (Like Mine). It’s just fun! So Please, get out and Scoop Yourself!

    On my Windows Media Player, I have 75.5 hours of Odyssey on it. 1 album I own, the rest are from my church’s library. You’re probably wondering how many albums that is? Well, it is about 17 albums. But I spilt it up so its like, for example, Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes Disc 1, so the I don’t get confused. Since I have it like Disc 1, Disc 2, etc. All together its 64 CDs. If that makes sense to you. If it doesn’t, oh well. Bye all, ;)

    Does anyone listen to KJ-52? He is an amazing Christian artist and for all of you looking for a quick, fast paced, song that isn’t secular, I recommend him. And his lyrics are amazing!I recommend looking up his song Dangerous. It is seriously amazing. I just wanted to ask yall. :D

    I just realized that I actually have a quite a few AIO episodes on audio cassette tapes.

    Just thought it was funny that I’m writing to two girls whose names sound the same. :P

    But, to calm your excited nevers, I’ll tell you as much as I can remember about seeing Anthem Lights in concert. They only played 3 or 4 songs, since they were opening for Newsong and Kutless-which was the reason I went. :P But Anthem Lights were pretty cool! It was the first time I had heard from them–or OF them for that matter. Lol. :P

    All I remember was a really cool song about talking about Jesus and not shutting up about it. I think the name was “We can’t shut-up about it.” Or something. :P I don’t remember the words. :P
    But these guys were also acrobats. :P Sorta’ :P At the end of one of the songs, one of them ran across the stage and used one of the other guys as a spring board to leap the rest of the way across the stage. That was cool. :P

    I could have stayed after the show and got their aughtographs and such, but I wanted to hang out with Kutless. :P (Like I needed to anymore than I already had? :P I was backstage with Kutless for 1+ hours before the concert. XD)
    But after the show Anthem Lights stayed for a little while longer and played a couple more songs, just on their acoustic guitars only. And they didn’t play on the stage, they just were out in the middle of the crowd at aughtographs. :P

    So yeah. :P That’s all I can remember from the concert. Oh wait. :P I wanted to say one more thing. :P That was the only concert where I could literally hear the GIRLS screaming over the music. :P Apparently some of the girls that were there were in love with more than just the music… :P

    You have a Nook?! My dad has a Kindle I use sometimes. You’re a girl, right? Well, I read a book called the Richest Doll in the World, by Polly M. Robertus. I really liked it! Another good book for a girl is The Little Princess, by Frances H. Burnett. You could probably get it on your Nook. Then some other good books are Little Women and Jo’s Boys by Louisa May Alcott.     We have ALOT of CDs, but the cases are long gone. We also have some pamplits and a puzzle. But we don’t have any tapes, books, T-shirts, waterbattles, or bordgames.

    But we’ll gust use what we have. Like I said I have some great ideas! :P

    Man Rock-of-ages that would be sooo cool. I love kutless too. I think its funny that the comments have somehow turned to christian artists :) This would be cool to enter but I don’t usually enter in these things and the only albums I have are reallly old and they are in tapes so I don’t know.(I only have two episodes on CD and those were just a sample thingy that my friend gave me)

    Little Men and Joy’s Boys…awesome books!! :D
    I love all the characters, and the story is so simple and sweetly written. Definately some of my favorites (my other favorites consist mainly of fantatsy and adventure, so LM and J’sBs stick out a bit).

    Can you ask the people over radio theater to check and see what going on with there schedule? 5 months ago it said they were gonna play anne of green gables! MY FAVORITE STORY! and now they are still airing commercials for it but they’re going to replay the narnia series!!! I REALLY want to listen but I can’t!     Do any of you listen to 94.9 KLTY? Of course, I think it only airs in the Dallas area, but I highly reccomend it to people who live near Dallas. It is very Christian.

    Another great book(s) is Elsie Dinsmore series. They are set in the 1800s i think. I love those stories like little women and the little princeses too. Great stuff! :)

    I do! I only own 2 albums in CD’s. It’s easier to listen to tapes. You can stop or turn off the radio and have your place saved

    It’s kind of strange how they change the alumb covers, but I’m okay whith that. And usally the new covers look better than the old. For instants, “Signed, Sealed & Committed” album 29 changed it’s cover and the new one looks nice. The old one had an ostrig and a graffe in the wedding serimony! What’s up with that? I thought that was just stupped! Who gets animals in a church to rooen their wedding? I’m glad they changed that cover. Are you going to enter the Scoop Yourself contest?

    When my sister was a teacher she took an AIO to her school. They listened to Snowday…and loved it! She had to skip the end…because of seperaion of church and state. So AIO is also being played in schools.

    I’ve never entered any contest at all associated with AIO or the AIO Scoop. I don’t think I’ll be entering the latest one (honestly I don’t have much Odyssey to attempt to impress people with), but I’ll cheer those who do on! :D
    I’ll try to remember to pray for ya!
    One of my latest struggles have been actually having the discipline to take the time and pray for others.

    My sister came back from the hospital and is doing ok now. Before she went to the hospital we all told her it wouldn’t hurt because they would give her anesthetic. (is that how you spell it?) But the doctor wasn’t a very good one. She actually got staples instead of stitches. Staples hurt a lot more than stitches from what I’ve heard. But the doctor only took about 30 seconds putting the staples in and left right when he was done. The staples are in crooked and he didn’t even give her anesthetic. But she is one tough cookie for a 5 year old. When she was 3 she broke her arm on my birthday, and she only cried for 1 minute! But when she came home we feasted on sherbert ice cream :) :) :D :lol:

    I’ve had the same problem! What I did was decided I’d cut down on how much time I spend listening and use some of that time to read my bible, so now I’m listening to AIO only about twice a week, and reading my bible every day!

    Shinbou: Your boyf- er, GUYfreind is right. Staples are quite painful! My little sis was getting a drink of water from the sink and she didn’t use the stool to get down. So she jumped and hit her head on the wall. My family seems to have a reputation of doing these things :P When I was 3 I had stitches on 3 different occasions. I nearly sliced my fibger off, I cut my head on a coffee table :P and I cracked my head on some rocks by lake michigan :lol:

    Cool! You know what’s interesting? I saw Anthem Lights there in that same city. :P It wasn’t for a youth thing though. Just thought that was pretty cool. :)

    Dene: Yes, revelation is a great book! Have you heard of the book series left behind? It’s all on the tribulation and the book of revelation. If you haven’t read them, you definately should! :D My little sister acctually got her stitches out today. It actually didn’t look like it hurt that much.

    Regollin: Ouch. Fell off the counter and hit the WALL?! Wouldn’t it be the floor? Im sorry, Im just having a very hard time visualizing this…..
    My little brother was walking along a tennis court wall and tripped on one of the tiles that was sticking up and fell four feet or more down, onto the concrete and landed on his arm, and it sent a bone in his elbow up his arm. He was so brave the whole time. :)

    I wanted to send a message out to the creators, producers, editors, promoters and Focus On The Family in general.
    I wanted to express to you all and say that because of all the episodes I have heard I am now a stronger believer and I have the strength to walk on top of my personal obstacles with Gods guidance and assistance.
    One personal obstacle that I had was that when I was 10 years old I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and because of Oddyssey episodes I had the strength..

    oh, poor girl. I’m glad she’s okay now. Haha, I shut my finger in a door and almost had to have stitches. :D I also pulled a muscle in my leg by running down thirteen flights of hotel stairs, then running back up them after I realized that they were the ones leading to the fire escape door, then I finally caved and took the elevator. :P Oh, and my friend Katrina pulled a muscle in her back by standing up with weekend. That was humorous. :D

    Regollin: Oh…I get it. That is horrible!! My younger brother and I (This was years ago) were staying at a hotel with my family and we were about to go swimming, and I was chasing him around the room, and he slipped and hit his head on a glass coffee table. He was really really bleeding, and I was so afraid he was gonna die or something. He Thankfully didn’t, and it wasn’t as serious as it looked…(head wounds tend to look worse than they are.) Im glad your sis is okay.

    Oh yeah, I knew that…kinda digusting in a coolish biological way.
    Who is your overall favorite Star Wars character (outta all six of the movies)?
    Mine would totally be Anakin in Episode III—err, I guess VI, because they made it last. I love how his character is completely devoloped with sarcasim in the begining, and by “The Revenge of the Sith”, the actor actually figures out how to act.
    And he looks cool with yellow eyes. :P

    Makes me sad when he turns into stiff ol’ helmet head Darth Vader.
    (Why oh why does Darth Vader have to fight like he’s an 80 year old man with arthritis?!! …oh wait, that’s because he is…)

    I think that mighta been the plan at first, but now they seem to be veering on and off the track.

    Basically I think they planned to finish with “The Pevensie Trilogy”, and then see what budgets were from there.
    So now the latest news is that producer Perry Moore died, but shared with his family the night before he passed away that he had gotten funds to start “The Magician’s Nephew”.

I was just with my friend who looks like she’s going to pass out any time we walk by elevators. :D We had a couple of good laughs about that(after we caught our breathes of course :) ) And I’m also the girl who only after several years of therapy :D has let go of the idea that escalators are lying in wait to catch my shoelaces and drag me to my death through the moving stairs. :D

    Dude, I LOVED The Door Within Trilogy! I finished it like a month ago, and I’m still blown away with the ending.

    Now I am happy.

    @ Who is Now The Owner of the Japanese Restraunt “The NinjaGrill” (got sushi?):
    Once upon a time, me and some other girls–all older then me, but nice people–were in an elevator of our state capitol (nice place). We pressed the second floor button (on the ground floor at the time), and continued talking.

    …We didn’t even notice the the elevator was going DOWN and not up.

    The doors opened, and we found ourselves looking out at the (very dark) basement of the building.
    AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! One girl started to freak out and continually hit the “close doors” button. She wouldn’t stop hitting the “Ground Floor” button until we’d come back to the light of day.

    Then we all laughed.

    It was quite weird.

    I especially like to write books with mysterious secrets and mishaps and adventure, you know, stuff like that. I’ve never finished a book though. I’ve always gotten too bored with it! :P Have you ever finished a book?

    In some ways, I think I like Anakin in the Clone Wars best. My little brother looks like little Ani, and then Darth Vader is…Darth Vader. I haven’t seen the newest third one(sorry, I grew up in a home where A New Hope, the Empire Strikes Back, and the Return of the Jedi are the “first” ones. :P It’s whatcha get for having old people for parents. :D )

    @The Knight: I LOVE CHUCK BLACK’s KINGDOM SERIES!!! Have you read his “Knight’s of Arrethtrea” Series?
    If you like the Kingdom Series, then I think you’d like my friend’s book, “Chosen” by Naomi Fuehrer. My friend, Naomi, is 16 and she just got her book published. It’s kind of similar to Chuck Black’s Kingdom series.
    And yes, I think girls can be great knights.

    Have you read any of Donita K. Paul’s books? She write some mean Christian fantasy/allegory. I like her old books best because her newer ones are more romance stories than anything. Ick.

    ehhh, that’s a good question. I never really thought about how old he is… My bro has blond hair that is extremely stubborn(like, won’t respond to both gel and mousse–we tried to spike his hair. It didn’t work.) The newer Star Wars aren’t as good. I like the ones with Luke and Leia in them. I like the Clone Wars a little though…partially because I think middle-aged Anakin is pretty cute. :D :P

    cool I have a lot of old odyssey tapes most of them are broken my family trys to collect them but they cost so much. I like listening to odyssey when I’m eating,reading a book,cleaning my room and I like saying to borrow the colopealism. I like every single odessey in the world not that i’ve heard all of them . But some of them used to scare me when I was little like pilgrms progress but when I’m stressed and tiered I just like to listen to odyssey in my room . odyessy even helps me sleep .

    TMJ is a condition that I have where basically, if I bite down, it sends shooting pain up my jaw. It hurts. :( But I’ve got a mouth thingymabob that helps when I sleep(apparently that’s when I clench my teeth the most.)
    Gwenne is awesome. She reminds me of my best friend. And I LOVE Aiden’s name. Best! Name! Ever!
    She’s pretty good, her older books are the best. I think she’s one of my favorite authors.

    with me.) One of my teammates got an AMAZING video of him, because one guy found him in the elevator, took one of the luggage carts–and had him ride on it all over the hotel. Some people didn’t even realize he was a real person! We went by the resturant, and they had music playing…so of course he danced. It was a fun experience.

    I had a wonderful trip! I got to hold my baby cousin and change his diaper and such. The only bad thing was that I got a really bad blister on my foot from walking around so much, and it broke out when we on a walk 1.5 miles from the house! (Thankfully my aunt let my wear her sock on the way home to keep the blister from rubbing against my shoe.) Overall, it was great! :lol:

    Yeah, agreed, Hulk CAN be cruel and ruthless, but he can’t help it. It’s in his blood. I feel sympathy for him, and I DO NOT like Iron Man! He’s so gross!!! :(
    I still think they should have picked Karl Urban for Thor, not Chris Hemsworth (who, by the way, did Australian soaps. How gross is that???). For those who don’t know, Karl Urban did Eomer from LOTR. I LOVE HIM!

    HI. I have been living in Mexico for 14 years now as a missionary kid. I just wanted to say what a blessing it is to have grown up with A.I.O. My siblings and learned so much from them. I am now 19 and heading off to college, but I still enjoy listening to them. It is nice to be able to have clean entertainment in a world that is so full of garbage. I am still praying that someday A.I.O will be in Spanish so that all the kids I have taught Sunday school can learn from them to. I have 3 albums.

    Bord, huh? Ahhh…sweet bordom. The things one can do with bordom are endless. You could write a story, read a book, draw a picture, drop a bucket cheeseballs off of your two story treehouse and watch it explode with orange cheeseyness.

    Dooood…I love Adam Young’s (the guy who created Owl City) voice SOOO much. It has a funny little high-pictched monotone that requires a certain audience to really like it. Totally a favorite. I also like Matt Theisson from Relient K. Good stuff.
