  • Tilli on July 26th, 2012 - 8:58am

HI EVERYONE! Tilli The Hobbit here! I have another story I want to share!

I am a human being living on the planet of Krill in the star system of Drense. Drense, a small star system without a single clue or idea how the heck to run out government, is dying. Truly sad…yet…the curiosity that inhabits our leaders’ souls intrigues me. They are running our government into the filthy ground of our forefathers and all they do is question the star system…and it’s plants…I’m the only who’s deeply concerned of the future of our home…nothing will become of it is the ghastly rumor inhabiting the village in Krill. I think there is hope for us…and fate.
“Malli!” Mother called me down from my room, a loft on the fiftieth-third level of our large home on 3645 Redplum Lane, Vixon, Krill 91630. I race downstairs in my pajamama’s.

Okay, since this is the newest podcast, I just wanted to say something for everyone to hear. I’m so sorry for ever having anything to do with the Dark Side Invasion, and for being one-half of starting it.

To Darth Vader, I’m really sorry for getting you into this mess and causing all this pain and confusion and outright ugliness between a bunch of kids who should be united, not divided.

To AIO, THANK YOU for stepping in and stopping this. It has gone way too far, and I’m so sorry. I take full blame for taking things to these extremes. I am the elder, I should have known better! I can’t make promises not to do this again (I seem to have a flare for making enemies), but I will do my best to keep the peace and point kids toward God, not sides.

To everyone else, especially Lacey, Mer Mer, and my own special sister :D : Thanks for pointing the true way, the way to the truth and light. You’re true friends. :)

“And at the end of this tunnel of darkness
We may yet escape from the night
To be wrapped in the arms of forgiveness
To walk again in a world that is bright”

No longer Jedi or Sith am I. I am a Warrior of truth, justice, courage, wisdom, and purity. I am…..a Warrior of Asine.

Okay so I am so ticked with England right about now! Which is sad since I ADORE England. In the opening ceremony they did a part for English Children’s literature since it’s so famous (I adore their literature and many of you do too!) So they had all sorts of famous villians from English literature come out and where was the White Witch? Where was Sauron? They’re so famous! But nooo instead the main villian was Voldermor or however you spell it from Harry Potter. >:( I’m so mad! They didn’t even

  • Ftu on July 27th, 2012 - 8:25pm

@ Belle: What we meant (well, what I meant!), is that we were around when the whole posting-buddy thing got started. We were there when people began to hold forth on lengthy conversations (in fact, WE were the ones to do so), and we watched the revolution of posting on the podcast into what it is today. We’ve been around a while, when all’s said and done. Well….if you’re 17, you must know algebra. I love algebra. And my old friends on here know me for this, so…. 6+7+4x=x+x+17-2. Or something along those lines, I’m best at solving equations, not writing them. ;)

mention Narnia or The Lord of the Rings :( But thankfully Voldermor was defeated by…. Mary Poppins. Move over Harry Potter hello Mary Poppins. :) It was quite comical, but I’m still sad and mad! I mean Narnia is FAMOUS!!!! :( I’m going to protest! :) Just kidding!

    Do I know
    U from somewhere
    Now it may sound strange
    And it may sound weird
Do I know you from somewhere
    I almost think you’re someone
    No one else could be
Else my mind is going somewhere I

    Know I don’t wanna be
    Many things have I known
I hope the future will hold
No more than I have gotten before
That will answer my questions ten-fold

    Many leagues from the city
It gleams in the pale morning light
So will I stand and watch the dawning

    I’m back!
    @London, I am a 12 year old girl (almost 13!)
I love to sing, listen to music , play piano, and anything that has to do with music. Oh, and I like to eat.!

  • regollin on July 29th, 2012 - 5:22pm

Hey everyone! I’m back from camp! It was amazing. An action packed week filled with singing, swimming, carpetball, and falling off cliffs…
Being Regollin the chinchilla, I’m bound to get hurt sooner or later at camp. Especially if a 50 ft. rock cliff is involved! So, this is what happened.
As soon as I got to camp, and first saw the cliff they call “big rock”, I said, “that would be fun to sled down!” Of course, I was being sarcastic. bouncing down a complete verticle descent and landing in a bunch of bushes, wouldn’t exactly be fun… But acctually…
So, I was standing at the top of the cliff, and wanted to take some pictures, so I walked along the edge clicking away. Then gravity decided it didn’t like me.
I bounced and rolled, and eventually after about ten minutes hit the bottom. I sat there at the bottom of the cliff in a daze. All I could say was ow. Then I said it again. Them maybe a few more times. But then I decided that it was fun. :P It was pretty funny, except for the twisted knee and bloody leg. But still, what’s funnier than a chinchilla bouncing down a mountain eh? xD

The week was amazing. The bible speaker there talked a lot about trials. And how we go through hard times, and God tests our faith. And through that we mature. We talked about so many other things, but it would take forever to tell you everything. It was a great week! Dodge-ball, early morning pranks, and night games with the entire camp… I love bible camp.
If any of you guys go to a camp, or go camping, I hope you have a great time!!!

    Regollin the campin’ chinchilla!

    To My Dear Friend FTU,
I thank you for saying what you said. It took courage, and humility. On a different podcast i asked if you had not responded to my comments intentionally, and I’m sorry if that was offensive, i just have a way of speaking my mind and people not wanting to talk to me anymore. my heart has been quite torn for a long time over this, and I’ll be glad to see it taken care of. obviously there’s AIO’s request, and that people will (hopefully) respect, but it’s people like you, and words like yours that end something like this. I really do respect you, even thought I’ve never seen you, and I really do still pray for you, I want you to know that. I hope things can get back to normal… as normal as they ever are. :) but it’s going to be hard, so here’s my first step… what’s your favourite ice cream flavour? I can honestly not choose. I went to an ice cream social one time, and got about 7 flavours. How can you resist something called “Happy Tracks” ?!? :)

I could eat a gallon of it in one sitting! My great-uncle actually won an ice-cream eating contest once, consuming 11 and a half gallons. How did he feel? Sick as a dog! :D Happy Tracks, what kind is that??? It sounds so cute! :D

@ Zayden: I love sarcasm! I use it all the time. There’s also something else I can’t spell, but it’s similar. :D

Wow, I wouldn’t call myself mature, but I guess so! I just don’t see any reason to get upset. Life ain’t long, so might as well get along as best we can. :D

Oho, I do my research! This is your comment, right…?

Is the series Life of faith by Martha Finley like Elsie Dinsmore and Millie Kieth? if so I have already read almost all of them. I just wish that the library I go to would get more christian authors. oh well I guess that non chistian authors can write good books to.

She stood in line, with her family as her stomach did flip-flops, this was the one ride she didn’t want to not want to not do. In other words, she didn’t want to do it, but she didn’t like it that way. They entered the building and were greeted by a tall man dressed in red hotel server attire. “Welcome,” he bellowed, “To the Hollywood Tower Hotel.” She gulped, as she saw the hat and cane, which were abandoned near an old chair.

Everything everywhere was covered in cobwebs. They stopped when they reached a small room, like a library. “The maids are putting the finishing touches on your rooms.” said the man. “I’m sure you’ll find them to be DROP DEAD gorgeous.” There was a ripple of nervous laugthter through the crowd. Suddenly every light went out and a T.V. screen flickered on. Rod Serling’s familiar face appeared on the screen. (Familiar, since her brother watched alot of the TwilightZone)

  • Owl lover on August 1st, 2012 - 11:28am

    Entry 3 (continued from 2)
The video was about how the hotel had once been a thriving operation, until one unfortunate night, when lighting struck the main service elevator, and no one was seen in that hotel…again. “And now,” said Rod, “You are entering that same elevator.” “Whoopee.” she said, under her breath. A door slid open, and everyone filed in and sat down in chairs marked 1-5. the man in the red reappeared and bid us farewell saying, “See you all soon.” Then, the elevator went up.

  • Owl lover on August 1st, 2012 - 11:35am

    Entry 4 (continued from 3)
It stopped. everyone held their breath. Then, they fell. She could feel the air rushing by her hair as they made their freefall to the ground. But before they arrived, they went back up a short distance, then down, then up. She did’nt know whether to cry or laugh. But then she realized, she was already laughing. Then they came to a final stop, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. “Be careful.” Said Rod’s voice.

“Or you might find yourself a permanent member, of the Twilight Zone. Eerie music faded out his voice, and everyone made their way to the exits. “How did you like it?” her mom asked. “Three words,” she said, “That. Was. Great.”

    The End. ;)

The actual ride at Disney World is a bit different from what I wrote but i didn’t want to give too much away. :)

It was pretty funny, except for the twisted knee and bloody leg.

    Regollin the campin’ chinchilla!

nope, different Simon Says. it’s like a 21st century trial of Simon Peter, and i was a whittness. in the Tempest i get to say “high my hearts, cheerly cheerlymy hearts, yare! take to the topsail, tend to the master’s whistle, blow till thow burst they wind if room enought!” and a couple other things too :) my part is split by two other people and i’m not that main of a character, but i still get to say a good piece. :)

@ cccw Dr. Blackgaard is my favorite caricature,
and I do not think Marleen is a villain.
I mean, what did she do that was so bad?
She started dating a guy, and they fell in love.
Its not like Mitch and Connie are dating and in walks Marleen.
I mean you act as though its the end of the world, that Mitch might marry someone other then Connie. Odyssey is a place where real life thing happen, and in real life you do not always get what you want.
I mean how happy would you be if Connor had to leave

Odyssey because she married Mitch? I know its hard for you guy’s to understand this but its for the best. Just trust that the Writer’s know what they are doing. And please let it be. You will understand later when Mr. Right comes for Connie. Its like the way God works in our life’s His the writer. He is the one writing our story the one we call life, we MUST trust that He knows what best for our life’s, and let Him do it(what’s best for us is not always what we want when we want it)

I’m so happy you decided to post on here. Welcome to the family of AIO lovers :)
Believe it or not I had the same problem too when I was younger. Pray that God will help you be brave when you’re scared to talk to new people. Then if you see another girl who’s sitting all alone or something like that take a deep breath and walk up to her. Smile and say, “Hi I’m Alexa, can I sit with you?” Chances are she’s just as nervous as you are about making friends. It might seem scary at first but

  • avalon on August 2nd, 2012 - 10:24am

if you take that first step you’ll find it easier to make friends. I walked up to a girl in fifth grade and said, “Hi can I sit with you?” And she became a good friend of mine. Taking that first step and talking with her or just being nice shows you want to be a friend.Just remember to be friendly and Christ-like. :) Hope this helps! :D

Avalon, Acacia (that was what the ark of the covenant was made of and she kinda carries the boy who was sent as God’s promise to save a town so I thought it would be fitting) Devyn, or Allegra. Any suggestions on other names, it needs to be an unique name so that people with different names can relate to it thanks :D

    Date: Unknown
    Location: DisneyWorld’s Animal Kingdom

She was sitting in the small train with no roof. Next to her was her Father, who looked as calm as a clam. But she was feeling anything but calm. See, legend has it that the part of the Himalayas they were traveling into was guarded by… The Yeti.
Of course she didn’t really believe in the Yeti, until their train car stopped suddenly…where the track was split entirely in two. Everyone gasped in amazement. And they flew bakcwards.

  • Owl lover on August 6th, 2012 - 9:05am

    Entry 2 (continued from 1)

They were plummeting down toward the ground going backwards, then they stopped momentarily to hear a gargantuan roar. Everyone screamed as they began moving forward again, plummeting downward once more, then came out into the sunlight then back into the cave. Everyone screamed again as the giant Yeti lunged out of nowhere at them. She gasped as it’s huge claws came down inches above her head. The train stopped. They were safe from the Yeti.

  • Owl lover on August 6th, 2012 - 9:08am

As they made their way back through the gift shop, she asked, “Did everyone see the Yeti?” “I didn’t.” her brother, “I didn’t” said her other brother. “Huh-uh.” said her dad, “No! Where was it?” Her mom asked. She was shocked, “None of you saw it?!” They all shook their heads. “Well,” she said, “I guess we’ll just have to ride it again. Come on, follow me.”

But, I never really took writing seriously until last year. And even then, I mostly just wrote poetry, until I started writing a third-person journal. That’s really what got me started writing.
My birthday is Sept. 20. It’s in 45 days!!! So pumped! :P
    I am 13 years old (almost 14) I am a girl in 7th grade.

I have 2 older brothers who are 17 and 15, so I am the youngest. Which has its many pros and cons. :)

Dear AIO, Were you suprised by all the people who want Buck to come back?
In my personal opinion, I think we all have a ‘Mr. Skint’ in our lives, who seems to love you, but ends up leading you astray. And I think in our own way, we are all like Buck, young and troubled, trying hard to survive in this messy world. And we need a ‘Katrina’ in our lives who will show us that life is not about stuff, it’s about the choices you make that makes you who you are. That’s why I want Buck back.

YAY! My itunes is unfrozen, my comments moderated, and four more days untill Flordia! Hey, i am going to put part of one of my stories on this comment.

A wild herd of horses galloped through the plains, next to a forest. A small, desperate whinny could be heard as they galloped for their life. Men, chasing them down, crept closer. The owner of the whinny was a small, silvery filly seperated from her mother in the rush. The mother heard the cries, and neighed loudly back. The filly, following the

I read all the Sherlock Holmes I can get my hands. And by reading people’s comments, I can help guide the discussions in the right direction. No one’s gotten too out of hand yet, though. :D Whew!

Yeah, it’s not so hard to adjust. I think, with a little time, that you’ll probably become one of the older, more mature posters on here. The older ones usually do. Most of us are like, 9-15. So a 17-year-old will be nice. :D

I have also read Sherlock Homes.
Did you ever read The box car kids?

  • ftu on August 10th, 2012 - 5:04pm

@ London: Yes, I have seen one of the movies! I skimmed through “Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure” and for the record I disliked it so much! The book wasn’t that well-written, in my opinion, but the movie was oh-so-much-worse! (Excuses to those who like the movies) What I really didn’t like about the movie was the fact that they rewrote the story completely. There was no Polly in the book, no Etta Shaw, no silliness like in the movie. Oh, and they left out Dimar and Sally. I like those characters! AND TSANI!!! I really wanted to see him. :( He’s my favorite character, besides Josephine Patton. :D
I’ve read the first chapter, I think, of the box car kids. It’s like a series, right? I’ve read the first chapter of the first book, and then a later one when they’re living with their grandpa. Other than being a little young for me, I liked’em! :D

@ Zayden: Haha, Mandie is pretty girly! The only boy character I really liked is constantly getting her friends and her into trouble (part of why I liked him, to be truthful Mandie annoys me!).
YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE??? ##You must never look at book spines either.## Sir Doyle is the author of Sherlock Holmes! I’ve heard it said that Sir Doyle had a very “deducing mind” and that he enjoyed getting his character into all sorts of mysteries that were complicated to solve. Sounds like Sherlock to me! :D Have you read “The Hounds of the Baskervilles”? I almost freaked when I read it, it was so eery! :D

Agreed, Lexi Johnson is aging out really fast. She doesn’t have the adorableness that made even 13-year-old book Mandie a joy to read. And from the little info I have about the Forgotten Christmas, they butcher the books. The third book didn’t even take place at school, or have Celia! AGH! @ JMP: Haha, glad I made you laugh! :D Btw, I love your name. :D

@ Grace: The Mandie series, by Lois Gladys Leppard, are about this girl in 1900 North Carolina. They aren’t, in my opinion, that well-written, but the stories were based off real events in Leppard’s own history. So it’s usually pretty realistic. Mandie is a Christian, so the books are very clean and wholesome, no bad content. The books are usually about solving mysteries (e.g. “ghosts” who steal Mandie’s gold, a mystery boy hiding on a cruise ship, paintings being stolen from a Belgium musem). I’ve actually only read the first twenty stories (there’s forty in all), but they hold your attention the first few times. Some of them are better than others. There’s lots of reoccuring characters: Mandie’s friend Joe Woodard, the doctor’s son; Polly Cornwallis, her next-door neighbor at her uncle’s house; Celia Hamilton, her best friend at school; Uncle Ned, a distant Cherokee relative. All nice people. I should mention that Mandie is one-fourth Cherokee, but she’s a blue-eyed blond. Comes from the mom’s side. Anyway, that’s kinda Mandie in a nutshell. You kinda have to read the books to get a full idea. But I don’t hesitate to recommend them. They were a little boring for me, but that’s because my sibs didn’t like’em much and it kinda bleeds over. :D

I liked the Boxcar Children and the Hardy Boys and Encyclopedia Brown best when I was your age. Alas, but such days of carefree-ness are gone now. Hey – carefree-ness…is that really a word?

  • AIRFORCEMAN on August 20th, 2012 - 12:46pm

@ Yamamoto my favorite plane is the P-51 Mustang.@ Sheyenne I love the Boxcar Children books!!!!!!!!! From the kid who loves planes.

@ Zayden: Thanks, Zayden. I feel so good about myself now. :D Lol, just sarcasm. :D

Naw, not all the time. I mean, some people (like Ninjagirl, don’t know if you know her) hasn’t been on for a while, but her influence still permeates through the posting boards. One thing to do if you want to be remembered is do something that a lot of people will think is cool (impostering doesn’t count). Or, make a name for yourself. It was easy for me (because a lot of people wanted to know what fear the unknown meant), but there’s dozens of ways to make sure you’re elected to the alumni without having to spend a ton of time on here.

I take it your older sibs don’t post on here? :?

    FearTheUnknown 8-)

  • ftu on August 20th, 2012 - 6:54pm

@ Sheyenne: Aw, you too? Dude, I have read so little of the boxcar children, I really can’t talk about them like I do Mandie. Um, have you read the Bracken Triology by Jerri Massi? Or the Peabody Adventure Series? I love those books (even if they are for “juveniles”!) :D
    FearTheUnknown 8-)

  • ftu on August 20th, 2012 - 6:58pm

@ London: Yup. Ip Man is so much cooler than Bruce Lee! (Though I should warn that the movies are R-rated, I’ve watched them both, we had to skip some of the fighting scenes, and the English translators for the Cantounese used a lot of bad words where the actors weren’t saying any). Neway, I have seen Captain America as well, and it’s…okay. They have some hilarious laugh-out-loud moments, but a lot of swearing (mostly hecks and hells), some rather-cheesy romance, and just over-all blandness. I like it only as a lead-up to the Avengers movie (which I have yet to see). But, I wouldn’t say DON’T watch it. Be ready to mute a lot of the dialogue. :)
    FearTheUnknown 8-)

P.S. Good point: Jeremiah sounds like he’s done some clandestine “investigations”, we shall call them. Hmm.

Wait: you had cake and ice cream for breakfast? WHOOHOO!!! I didn’t even eat breakfast today!

Padme, that is the mystery, now isn’t it? See if you can figure it out in the next couple of days…

  • PrincessLeah on August 21st, 2012 - 6:29pm

FTU- Umm, actually, in the books, there is a Polly, Etta Shaw and the reason they probably don’t seem so well written is that when the author wrote them, she was very young. Just…um…wanted to…uh..clear that up? Sorry, I know you weren’t talking to me, but I loved the books…. heh. The movies are a little strange though.

  • PrincessLeah on August 21st, 2012 - 6:32pm

Oh yeah, some of the books were based on real things that happened to the authors..grandmother? or something, maybe mother, can’t remember. Anyway, there is a real Amanda somewhere in there.

Grace- I know, I’m getting into the bad habit of answering undirected comments, but the author is Lois Gladys Leppard.

  • Yamamoto on August 21st, 2012 - 8:55pm

I know Etta Shaw/Hughes, but what got me was that she was in the movie, doing something she didn’t do in the book. I don’t know, I’m picky like that. :)

  • amw 97 on August 29th, 2012 - 11:16am

so here is some of my store……

What i have learned this year. Well it all started when my mother walked in to my room that
    night not so long ago…..
    “Mama, what is it?”
I asked as she pulled me out of bed.
“We can not talk now, just do as I say, do not say a word and fallow me. Be VARY quite.”
I was so confused. What was she talking about, am I dreaming. i know I am not, so i just fallowed.
She grabbed me robe, and before I knew what she was doing, she had me wrapped up in my robe,
heading to the window. I looked at her bewildered, as she started climbing out of the window.
Then like thunder I heard a voice coming from the stares, so out the window I went. (I did not
want to know who the voice belonged to or why the voice from the stares was yelling.)
I had no clue, what was to happen by the time I sew that room again.
We fled down to the ally below. I tripped a few times but each time my mother, pulled me up
again and we proceeded to run. What we were running from, I did not know. All I know was my life
was not going to be the same after this……

I know it’s not grammatically correct, but this is my “story.”

Hey C@C, why do u think i impostered FTU?

  • C@C on September 6th, 2012 - 7:11pm

FTU, no, I didn’t mean that, I meant if he could help figure out what all of the chaos was about currently, after the little kaboom with Moobak run-in and hopefully desipher the whole caligraphy about the confusing podcast and how the conversation had to do with the firepower part and the whole halabaloo about our little unstoppable hyrogliphics of a conversation, espeacally from the questions podcast to the avery awards, but even before that existed when he wasn’t even there yet at the comment

Page and mabye even before Sheyenne left because of all the impostering was starting and she made that looong comment which I thought you couldn’t do, because it has a character limit of 500 but apparently dosen’t have affect for some people because of their computer type even though mine is windows 7, and that is why I made that break into two commets. • Willowtree on September 8th, 2012 - 5:19am

FTU- :D I told C@C this, it was the only way I could think to do it.

Do you see the arrow-like keys to the right of the “m”? Use the first, type “i”, use the second. Now type in your word. Use the first arrow again, then use the slash thing on the same key as the question mark, type “i”, now use the second arrow.

This is a little different, but still, I was very surprised when she actually understood me!

#3 There is no rule number 3!

    #4 Have fun! :D

Ok, I’ll give the backround on SHMEEBO day.
Last year, in Early September, I introduced my little sister SHMEEBO to the podcast. I thought of the name SHMEEBO because, well, I just thought it sounded funny.
