Believe that you still have a reason to sing, because the pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.

Well for Christmas I got a nook, a case for my nook, a 3D puzzle, a GIANT teddy bear, some buckey balls, and the lego seaside house. I love monopoly, but we only have monoply jr. I have not been doing mutch. We went to my grandparents house after Christmas. Now I am home sick.

    Have you read Pilgrims progress? Becuase you need to ,to understand what that means. Anyway I’ll Give you a brief of the story so you’ll understand… This guy named Christian (Which is one of the Pilgrims) Is on a search for the celestial city (heaven). He has to endure all kinds of evil temptations . It’s mainly the walk a christian takes to get to heaven . You know standing up for what’s right & stuff.

    Story Excerpt Day! Here’s mine.

    Here is my story Excerpt! It’s from my story which I tentatively call, plainly, Jonah. It’s about a girl named Skyler who believes she’s been called to ministry for God, in far places, but she’s scared to do anything about it. As she was reading the book of Jonah, the passage given to her sunday school class to read over the week, she falls asleep and dreams that she’s in the story. Here’s one of my favourite scenes. :)

    Skyler was woken from her sleep by a violent rocking of the ship and shouts and screams above. She stumbled off the low bunk and out of her cabin. Opening the hatch, she received a dousing of freezing cold salt water. She gasped. Rain came down in torrents. Flashes of lighting ripped across the dark sky. Booms of thunder made the air tremble. Waves tossed the ship like a toy, threatening to capsize it or tear it apart by it’s thrashings. The captain was running to the hatch. “Where’s Jonah!”

The men scrambled for the hatch and Skyler fell back to avoid being trampled. The captain was the last down. All the men were soon praying to whatever gods they believed in, even the captain. Skyler stared, shock by the fact that none were praying to the one true God. The captain got up after a while and went to Jonah’s cabin. “Master Jonah!”

Whoever the lot falls upon, he is the cause of this storm!” Skyler went over to the men. They had small stones with something written on them.

I fear the Lord, the God of heaven. He made the sea and the dry land. I have fled from my God, who has told me to go to Nineveh.”
